I’ve always been drawn to the parts of people that don’t get said out loud. What sits beneath the surface, what we carry, what we’re still trying to make sense of.
My work is informed by my clinical training and professional experience, as well as my own journey of learning how to slow down, set boundaries, and listen inward. I understand what it’s like to be highly sensitive, to feel things deeply, and to be the person others rely on while quietly managing your own overwhelm internally.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO. I hold a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. This dual background has shaped the way I understand the mind-body connection and the importance of approaching healing holistically. This encompasses viewing you as a whole person and being so much more interconnected and nuanced than just a set of symptoms.
I began my career as a personal trainer, where my passion for helping others first took shape. I later worked as an Exercise Physiologist at the Cleveland Clinic, supporting high-performing individuals, including athletes and executives, in navigating both physical and mental demands. I then transitioned into corporate and business development roles within healthcare. These experiences deeply shaped how I see people, not just as clients, but as individuals balancing pressure, expectations, and the realities of everyday life.
To me, therapy is about more than analyzing patterns or building tools (though we’ll do that too). It is about helping you understand yourself on a deeper level, including your nervous system, your relationships, and the parts of you that have been carrying a lot for a long time. My approach is collaborative and grounded, integrating modalities such as ACT, EMDR, narrative therapy, schema work, and mindfulness.
Outside of therapy, I value slowing down and being present, whether that’s on my own or with people I care about. I’m an avid reader and love a good thriller or historical fiction. I spend a lot of time with my dog, Cashew, and feel most like myself when I am outside, walking, resetting, and getting a bit of space from the noise of everyday life.
